Parli Vaijnath Temple – A Center of Faith and Healing
Visit the sacred Parli Vaijnath Temple, a powerful Jyotirlinga shrine where devotion meets divine grace and healing.
Located in the Beed district of Maharashtra, the Parli Vaijnath Temple is a highly revered pilgrimage site, recognized as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The temple is renowned for its spiritual ambiance and is believed to possess divine healing powers, attracting devotees from far and wide seeking blessings and cures for ailments.
The temple, built in a classic Hemadpanti style, stands on a small hill and is constructed from stone. Its architecture, though ancient, has been renovated over the centuries, with significant contributions from Rani Ahilyabai Holkar. The sanctum sanctorum houses the sacred Jyotirlinga, which is the main object of worship.

The legend of the temple is associated with the story of Ravana, who is said to have meditated here to please Lord Shiva. It is also believed that this is the place where the divine nectar (Amrit) emerged during the churning of the ocean (Samudra Manthan), and Dhanvantari, the physician of the gods, appeared with it. This connection reinforces the temple's reputation as a place of healing.
A visit to Parli Vaijnath offers a deeply spiritual and serene experience, allowing devotees to connect with the divine and seek blessings for health and well-being.
